COUNTDOWN TO THE END

What does the Bible say about estimating or calculating when the last seven years of Daniel's seventy-sevens of weeks begin and end?

Putting historical record to the Bible test.  Who will be correct, YHVH or historical record?
Charts are included below.

That's not only a big question, it's a loaded one.  The reference below says only the Father knows.  This was Jesus' answer to his disciples before he ascended to heaven.  Only the Father knows.  It is a good Bible interpretation practice to follow the Biblical practice of establishing the foundation of Father (YHVH) and Son (Jesus / Yeshuah).

The Holy Spirit is omniscient, yet it says only the Father knows.  Think about that for a minute!  Why would the Holy Spirit, who is considered to be a separate person from YHVH and Jesus, not know, also?  Aren't we taught that all-knowing is knowing all things?  I know I can't claim that distinction and the Bible teaches that YHVH is the only one who can.  The Bible doesn't lie.

Matthew 24:35-39 (NASB)--35"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.  36"But of that day and hour
no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.  37"For the coming of the Son of Man will be just
like the days of Noah.  38"For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,
until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the
coming of the Son of Man be."

The Bible has the answers to the above questions.  We just need to consult with the Bible and the one who inspired it.

Noah built the ark in plain sight for everyone to see.  Yet the people who watched him do it did not believe.  They did not prepare for what was to come and died in the flood.   Other Scriptures: Matthew 25:13; Mark 13:32 and Luke 12:45-47 tell us to be prepared no matter what the day or hour will be.  Noah didn't know the day or the hour the flood would come but he prepared for it and knew that the closer he came to finishing the ark and filling it the closer he was to the time the rain would begin.

YHVH said he has told us what he will do before he does it; in the case of Daniel's seventy-sevens prophecy it was a few thousand years before.  He gave Daniel the timing schedule and after Jesus ascended to occupy his throne next to his father, John received a message for the churches from: 1)  Father,  2) Son,  3)  the seven spirits of the Father, which we are told elsewhere that the Father sends out into all the earth. "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which YHVH (Yahavah) gave to him, to show to his servants, things which must shortly come to pass;" (Rev. 1:1a). "Grace [be] to you, and peace, from him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth." (Rev. 1:4b-5a).   John wrote, "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of YHVH (Yahavah) sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne" (Rev. 5:6-7).

  • from him who is--YHVH has always been and will always be.  He is the "I AM" which is in Hebrew, HVH, of the great Exodus.
  • who was--YHVH has always been with His chosen people, even when they were not with Him.
  • who is to come--YHVH came to His people and the gentiles by the power of His Spirit in His own Son, a.k.a., Immanuel, "YHVH with us."  YHVH continues to rule His creation by the power of His own Spirit through His own obedient Son.  He will come to recompense His people, obedient faithful believers, when we see His own Son on a cloud and hear His voice say, "Come up here."

It breaks my heart into a million pieces when I think of all the thousands of trusted Bible scholars and Ministers of His Word who preach and teach lies.  It would seem that their greatness has built a wall of pride around them and plugged the ears of their hearts.

The message of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is sent from the Father, the Son, by the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is shown here as the seven spirits of YHVH sent out into all the earth [omnipresence of YHVH] (Rev. 5:6).   It is the picture of the pouring out of the promised Holy Spirit because Jesus, the Lamb of YHVH, gave his life to pay the price for Adam's sin and to fulfill the promise of a Comforter.

I can't even begin to express the importance of understanding that the Holy Spirit is the person of YHVH.  People who believe and teach the Trinity doctrine (three persons in one Godhead) wonder why there are so many different interpretations of YHVH's Word.  I can tell you why; it is another "spirit" who is teaching them because that door was flung wide open for Satan's deceit.  The Bible is replete with evidence and witness to the Father and the Spirit being one and the same person.  YHVH is not a mere figure head.  He is the Supreme ruling force, the creator.  He is the one YHVH Elohim of Genesis 1:1-2:4.  He is the Holy Father of Jesus Christ who, I repeat, died for Adam's sin so we could receive the gift of a new life in the power of the Spirit of YHVH who comes to us in the anointing of the seven spirits sent out into all the earth.  The Bible says it and that's good enough for me.  I don't need all the suppositional arguments of past and present Philosophers.

But, I get wound up on this subject and digress from the subject I started with.

It is true, we don't know the day or the hour but YHVH gave us His timing plan of years through the seventy-sevens of weeks prophecy (Daniel 9:24-27).   We also know it is based on Jubilee and the Feasts of YHVH and that the timing began in Tishri at the Feast of Ingathering according to historical record at about 444 B.C.  The captives who were in Babylon were allowed to go back to Jerusalem to rebiuld the Temple and the wall with all of its gates.  There is some speculation on the exact date the reconstructed Temple and wall was finished and dedicated to YHVH by Nehemiah, however the general concensus is circa 444 B.C.  The Bible states that it was at the time of the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year. Nehemiah 2:1 through 6:15 gives the details of his arrival from Babylon to Jerusalem and everyone finishing the wall on the 25th of Elul in fifty-two days of difficult and threatened work.  When Tishri came the Israelites were in their cities.  When they came to the Temple for the Feast, Ezra read the Law to them and they made booths in remembrance of their exodus from Egypt and to the Lord.  They obeyed the ordinance and confessed their sin.  The focus of the prophecy is not the year it started or will end.  The point is to be ready, like Noah; to prepare for His coming by building and strengthening the Body of Christ by paying attention to all of the Word of YHVH in obedience to YHVH.  He will do the rest.

THE TIME LINE TO THE END
The time line to the end begins with the completion of Jerusalem's wall in the days of Nehemiah and reading of the Law.

Daniel 9:24-27 (NASB) 24"Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.  25"So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.   26"Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.   27"And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

The chart below provides the dates from the first seven sevens (49 yrs) to after 62 weeks when Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected at the beginning of the first year of the last seven years.  YHVH gave us the timing.  The first 49 years (seven weeks) is connected to the next 434 years (sixty-two weeks), so the last seven has to be connected to the whole.

The entire plan is built around the Three Feasts of YHVH when all faithful believers go to Jerusalem three times a year to honor and obey YHVH.  They are the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Ingathering.  Jesus said he came to fulfill the law and the prophets.
  • He was the Passover Lamb for the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
  • Apart from the wave offering, He provided the first fruits of the harvest in the 12 Apostles at the Feast of Weeks on Pentecost when the fire of the Lord rested on their heads.
  • He will fulfill the Feast of Ingathering when he harvests the wheat and the grapes of YHVH's wrath.
* The wheat is the faithful saints and sealed 144,000 remant of Israel who will be resurrected.
*  The grapes of his wrath are all the unbelievers who did not prepare or even believe.

Jesus came to fulfill the Law and prophecy and will come again to finish it.

PUTTING HISTORICAL RECORD TO THE TEST
Please note that applying dates to the diagram below is meant as a wake up call on the probable inaccuracy of some historical records.   Historical record tells us that Nehemiah read the law in the seventh month of the sacred year of 444 BC to dedicate the finished wall around Jerusalem.  Historical record also tells us Jesus was most likely born in 4 BC.  So, let’s test that theory with the Bible.  There are ten periods of 49 years in Daniel’s prophecy of seventy-sevens of weeks with an unknown period of time between the 69th and the prophetical 70th week.   The prophecy says that Jesus’ death would be after 69 weeks putting it in the first month of the 483rd sacred year after the reading of the law by Nehemiah and at the beginning of the chronological seventieth week.    Using 444 BC puts Jesus’ birth at 14 AD.  Alternatively, using his historically accepted birth at 4 BC puts the reading of the law at 462 BC.  YHVH doesn’t lie.  His time line in the seventy weeks to the end is absolute.  Historical record, on the other hand, which is mostly based on archaeological finds, has erred in establishing one or more dates prior to the day Nehemiah dedicated the walls of Jerusalem to YHVH.
