THE SCROLL WITH SEVEN SEALS

Below are two graphic versions of the scroll with seven seals.  They are both drawn exactly as they are described in the Bible.  The Bible gives us examples of choices between good and evil; Jesus or the world that GOD is going to destroy. 

• The first four seals are about the rewards and consequences of our choices.
  

• The last three seals are about the major occurrences of the last seven years of Daniel's prophecy of seventy sevens.
  

• When the last seal is broken and the seven years and seven trumpets are finished, the scroll will open for the White Throne Judgment to find out who is and who is not in the Book of Life.

Vision of the Fourth Beast

vs 7. After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and breaks in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns.

vs 8. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before which there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

THE REST OF THE DESCRIPTION OF THE FOURTH BEAST

IS IN REVELATION 13:

Rev 13:1-10  "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy, power, and his seat, and great authority.  And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?   And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.   And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  If any man have an ear, let him hear.  He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."

False prophets abound in this world.  They lead people who believe them into captivity.  They don't have the fear of the Lord!  Nor do they even know what it means.

The word "Is" used in the context of the riddle of the fourth beast means "alive" in the far past and in the far future.  Sin "is" alive in this way.  Babylon, the Mother of Harlots "is" alive in this way.  The spirit of Antichrist "is" alive in this way.  In fact the spirit of Antichrist is sin and the mother of harlots all wrapped up into one.  Let me show you the difference between the Spirit of God who "is" and the Spirit of Antichrist who "is."

ABOUT THE SEVEN HILLS OF ROME:

The seven hills of Rome are a traditional and popular teaching concerning the mysterious fourth beast.  However, the Bible neither mentions the names of these hills, nor the title of "seven hills of Rome."   No prophecy of the Bible speaks of Rome as part of the four beasts.  The graphics shown on this page in combination with Daniel's prophecy and Revelation's beast riddle reveal who the beasts, the tens horns and the seven heads are and that Rome is not part of them.

The names of the hills of Rome are: Quirinal Hill, Viminal Hill, Capitoline Hill, Esquiline Hill,Palatine Hill, Caelian Hill, and Aventine Hill.  They are not mentioned in the Bible.  However, the ten nations around Israel are mentioned many times in relation to Israel.

The fatal wound to one head is of the Syrian Seleucid kingdom in 63 B.C. when Rome finally overtook it.

The Syrian head will come alive again as the fourth beast of the last seven years of Daniel's seventy-sevens of weeks.

Circa 554 B.C. Daniel has visions of the fourth beast of the end times (last seven years of Daniel’s prophecy).  The timing of the appearance of Daniel’s fourth beast is a 1290 day reign during the end of the last seven years of Daniels prophecy of seventy-sevens.

The general shape of this drawing is similar in appearance to the seven headed six horned dragon on the Akkadian cylinder seal below;circa, 2360-2180 B.C.  (Zondervan Pictorial Bible Encyl. C. 1976,  Vol. 5, pg 320, seals.)  

This ancient cylinder seal came from Tell Asmar and is kept in the Iraq  Museum. (Cylinder Seal of the Akkadian Era -- 2360-2180 B.C.)  The Akkadian empire covered all of what is now Iraq, northern Syria, and southern Turkey.  In Daniel’s time it was Babylon, Assyria, and Mesopotamia.  The image is of the mushussu, "dragon" or "terrifying serpent." Three of its heads appear to be engaged in battle while the other four droop down.  This seal depicts the story of the god, Tishpak, fighting the seven headed dragon. 

Seventy Years to Complete the Desolations of Jerusalem

Yes!  This prophecy does pertain to Israel.  However, all of the prophecy will not be finished until the millennium is finished .  It stands firm until then.  Everyone else is just along for the ride, but not without the hope of reconciliation with YHVH through the shed blood of Jesus.  Believe and be adopted into YHVH's promises to Israel.

THE PURPOSE

Daniel 9:24--Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city,   1) to finish the transgression, and 2) to make an end of sins, and 3) to make reconciliation for iniquity, and  4) to bring in everlasting righteousness, and  5) to seal up the vision and prophecy, and 6) to anoint the most Holy.    Four of these six can only be completed after Jesus returns or after the millennium.

• Matthew 3:16, 17 and Isaiah 11:1-3    Jesus (the most Holy) was anointed in the Spirit of YHVH according to the prophecy of Isaiah when he began his three year ministry.
  

• John 3:5  Reconciliation is accomplished by the new birth which means receiving the Spirit of YHVH upon believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sin of Adam upon all mankind.  Believe and be reconciled to YHVH.
  

• Rev. 7:1-8.  The 144,000 of the twelve tribes of Israel are the chosen to finish Israel's transgressions when they are anointed in the Spirit of YHVH moments before the seventh trumpet sounds and the call for the first resurrection a.k.a "rapture."  At the end of the tribulation period not before it begins. 
  

• Rev. 20:7-10  The end of sin comes at the end of the millennium Satan will be loosed from his chains to go out and deceive one more time.  This is called Gog and Magog.  It is also described in Ezek. 38-39.  Then the White Throne Judgment.
  

• Rev. 21  Everlasting righteousness is accomplished with a new heaven, new earth and New Jerusalem.
  

• With the new heaven and new earth there will be no need for vision and prophecy
  

THREE TIME FRAMES

Daniel 9:25--Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Time frame one: The starting point is the order to restore and the rebuild

Jerusalem—begin the count:  seven weeks or 7x7=49 years.

Time frame two:  Three score =sixty weeks + two weeks or 434 years

Jerusalem will be restored. This will be at the beginning of the chronological

seventieth week.  The actual seventieth week will not occur until six years prior

to Christ’s return. 

Daniel 9:26--And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

The Hebrew word "shachath" translated to "destroy" also means decay,

ruin, batter and corrupt.

The Seleucid, Antiochus IV (Epiphanes), did viciously attack the city killing forty

thousand and selling as many into slavery.  He ordered forbidden sacrifices on

the  sanctuary altar.  Antiochus battered, ruined and corrupted the city and the

sanctuary. This triggered  the Maccabean Revolt.  The Maccabean revolt itself

involved many battles, in which the Maccabean forces gained notoriety among

the Syrian army for their use of guerrilla tactics. After the victory, the Maccabees

entered Jerusalem in triumph and ritually cleansed the Temple, reestablishing

traditional Jewish worship there and installing Jonathan Maccabee as high priest.

More Seleucid troops were sent to quash the revolt, but were beaten.  All the

while Antiochus was in Persia.  He was at his home in Persia when he died in

164 BC.  He ruled the Seleucid Empire from 175 BC until his death.

This part of the prophecy must be coordinated with the five Bible prophecies shown below.  The translation of the word "shachath" was heavily influenced by the first century belief that the Roman destruction of the city and temple in 70 AD was the work of the prophesied Roman antichrist.  The prophecy in verse 26 is not finished as some say.   The Bible is very clear in its meaning and nothing should be added to or taken away from the words of the Bible.

Daniel 9:27--And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Time frame three:  one week equals seven years

Daniel 11:29—Enter the little horn who, like the Seleucid Empire, will rule Syria

about two thousand years later.  This is the Fourth Beast (Antichrist) of the last

seven years of the seventy-sevens.  This one will make a covenant with many for

seven years.  The Bible doesn't say who the many are. However, since the little

horn springs up amongst the ten horns, in my opinion the many are the other

nine horns or nations around Israel.  The seven trumpets will announce God’s

judgments during that covenant period.

Since Jesus was the last sacrifice required by God, the sacrifice here would be

more global in the form of the sacrifice of prayer and giving to the work of God.

He will cause many to become apostate in that time of apostasy during what is

commonly called the Tribulation period.  The Great Tribulation is the wrath of God

at the end.

The following is a common miconception which has led to many misunderstandings and heresies.

The Prince That Shall Come, comes from Daniel 9:26-27 in which the people of the Prince that shall come would destroy the city and the sanctuary. The fulfillment occurred in history when the Roman legions under Titus Vespasian destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D.  This reflexive reference to the Romans in Daniel 9:26 is one of several reasons why most Bible scholars view the future Prince that shall come as a Roman, or European.

FOURTH BEAST REVEALED

This site brings the message of the Bible in obedience to the Great Commission.  In following Jesus' command these three must agree: Water, Blood and Spirit.  The water of YHVH’s Word, The reason for the shed blood of Jesus and the Spirit of YHVH.  No interpretation can agree with the Bible without these three and that will never change.

Satan's agenda is to change the law and the times.  False prophecy is about changing the law and the times from what is written in the Bible. There are many false prophets and false prophecies.  The deaf ears of a false prophet is blasphemy to the Spirit of YHVH and the root of heresy!  Testing the spirit of a commentary or doctrine by the Word through the Spirit is essential in avoiding false prophecy and passing the deadly disease on to others.   All of the components to a Biblical understanding of the seventy-weeks of Daniel, the four beasts and solid, on the rock, basic Bible knowledge are on this page or linked from this page to help the faithful in Christ. Test everything by the Word, including me.  If you find what I've written to be inconcistent with the Word, have the love and care to contact me with your findings, good or bad.

Rome was never part of end-time bible prophecy!  

To say it was or will be is adding to bible prophecy.  

This graphic shows the correlation of Nebuchadnezzar's statue and the three stages of the Third Beast into the Fourth Beast.  The little horn on the goat identifies the nation of Syria.  The ten toes and the ten horns are the same which are the ten nations around Israel with whom the some of the kings for the twelve tribes played the harlot. The little horn out of the ten horns indicates the covenant of seven years by the Syrian president with the leaders of the other nine nations which is currently in progress.  In my opinion the covenant will be to form their union against Israel.  However, they won't get a chance to pull that off because the first trumpet releases fire to burn a third of all the trees and grass in the world.  That will cause a year of no vegetation growth throughout the world because of the smoke blocking the sun.
